What Are Eco 3 Grants
Eco 3 Grants are a follow on for Eco 1 & 2 as part of The UK Government aim for the country to be carbon neutral by the year 2050.
In 2019 legislation was passed into law that committed the Government to a legally binding target of net zero emissions by that year and so funding is still available via the Energy Companies to upgrade heating and insulation.
This legislation seeks to build on reducing carbon emissions and further create green jobs in the process.
The funding is achieved by a levy on every fuel bill payer and is around 1.5 % of householder’s bills.
